While assessing the four main language skills: writing, speaking, reading and listening, our Business English examinations also test communication skills in the economic-commercial sphere and interaction abilities in work-related and everyday situations which are also characterised by specific intercultural features.

Students who are awarded a British Institutes Business English “BI BE” will have developed expressive-language skills in the “Business English” semantic sphere and personal interaction and communication abilities in situations affected by different economic-cultural aspects. This will enable them to adopt a cosmopolitan attitude, improving efficacy of communication during meetings with customers, colleagues and friends coming from different linguistic-cultural backgrounds.

The vocabulary required to pass a BI BE is topical, advanced, precise, taken directly from the most recent economic publications and essential for a confident reading of business texts.

The Business Examinations have been developed on four levels of the European Common Framework of Reference, i.e. A2, B1, B1+ and B2.
